Carter + Water = Hesitation

Last weekend we went to my parents and went swimming.
Well, at least we tried to go swimming. We thought that Carter was going to love the water, but so far this summer, he does not like it!
He got in the pool for 15 minutes or so.
He did willingly get in, but you can tell from this picture that the next words that came out of his mouth were, " Water, Out."
I got to swim to the end of the pool and back and he was ready to get out! But was content to just sit in his chair and watch everyone swim.
We know he will come around. Thus the decision to buy a Raging Waters Pass.
Yes, Annette we are going to be tagging along this whole summer!
He did run through the sprinklers for the first time that day! I was surprised that he actually ran, since the water was hitting him at eye level.

But with Grandma on the other side and the owl in the garden, it was a no brainer for him!
