It was the Hyde Park Celebration and we couldn't miss that!
We started by waiting around for the Fireworks to start by eating greasy pizza and eating a ton of junk food. Thanks Chris and Tiffiney for the 4 dozen FREE doughnuts!
Carter looked so cute in Tiffiney's Hat! Too bad we can't borrow it for the rodeo on Wednesday!
They also had some music in the back ground and Carter LOVED IT!

This may appear that my son is a little clumsy, but this is actually Carter busting out the Break Dancing moves!
Going to bed after the fireworks at 11:30pm wore me out, but thankfully the parade didn't start until 10:00am the next morning. Although, we barely made it on time!
I totally cut Jeff's head offf!!! HE HE HE sorry!
It took Carter a while to learn that the candy was for him, but he eventually came around to the idea!
All Carter wanted to do was eat his candy! We collected mostly taffy and a few peices of bubble gum.
Later that night after a really long nap, we again stayed up and had a fireworks show of our own! Jeff helped Carter with the sparklers! I love this picture of his face; totally enthrawled with the sparks!
All in all, it was a great weekend!(We also got video of Carter petting Tom the Turkey, but I will post it later!)
