Since we had decided to go back up to Logan in the morning, we needed to wake our kids up early in order to not rush them out the door soon after we opened gifts! We woke them up about 7:15 am and boy was Carter so excited. He was half asleep but kept on insisting to go look what Santa had brought him before we could wake up Aubrey. This year, Aubrey didn't really know what was going on. She knew what Santa looked like, but didn't really grasp the concept. Carter on the other hand, was all about it. After talking with Santa many times this year, he had no doubts that he was getting all he asked for. He was quit surprised when he got just a bike and not a bike and a scooter! (Sorry kid, Maybe next year)
Aubrey got a little pet kitty... she wasn't quit sure what to think of it!
Carter got a IRON MAN glove that makes noise and shoots our darts!
This is what Aubs got from Santa, along with a Tinkerbell Chair
This is what Carter got from Santa!
After we were able to ope our gifts, we got the kids in the car and headed to Logan. We arrived there around 10:30am. We didn't even get the kids dressed for the day. He bleeds Blue!
Our new little nephew Cooper Jacob Balls!
These are the bags I slaved over for all the girls in the Balls family!
I fell in love with each of their bags and didn't want to give them up.
Then at about 3:00pm we left Logan and got in the car for another hour and a half drive.
There my kids were spoiled yet again by thier grandparents!!!
Next Year, we all need to simplify!!!
Aubrey's favorite of the day? A place for her new doll to sleep!
The bed will fit her new Tinkerbell Barbie! I love this picture because you can see Jeff being a good Daddy putting one of Carter's Toys together!
All in all, We had a great Christmas, but I feel a little too much driving. What is it going to take for everyone to come and visit us next year; so we can stay home all day?
