The Ogden Raptors

July 12, 2010

Jake and Kristin got some free tickets to the Ogden Raptors and invited us along. We are so happy that we get to live close to family, so we jump at any chance to spend time together, but even better at a baseball game! Jeff was engrosed the whole time.

We had some great experiences along with watching the game with some annoying teenage boys behind us, who later spilled a slush down Kristin's back! NOT FUNNY!

We moved away from them as soon as we were allowed to move out of General Admission into some nicer seats aways from the teenage boys! Which also brought Carter some luck. Shortly before the game got over, this kid with a few old balls in his hand sat by us. He turned around and asked Carter if he wanted a ball that the players were practicing with earlier that day. CARTER WAS EXSTATIC!!! As soon as the game was over, he wanted to get his ball signed!

He was tuckered out, but hung in there to get the ball signed by as many players that would stop for him! I mean, how could you not stop for a 4 year old who is holding a ball with a pink pen!!

THis picture is amazing! I should have entered this one in the Pioneer Woman Funny Picture contest too! I really would have thought he would have been smiling, but since it wasn't a baseball player taking our picture, He was saving his energy for where it counted...

...When he was all done and ready to go home with his ball signed by the team!!
Thank you Jake and Kristin for the tickets!
